Description:
This workshop is a technical process focused intensive covering the creation of slip and application techniques. We will start with technical information covering deflocculation, ideal clay bodies to turn into painting/casting slips.
Moving from there we will continue with processing clay into painting, casting, or spreading slips, coloring or additives, and applying them to leather hard/cheese hard greenware.

Cost: $45 HPG members/current students and $55 for non-members. Priority given to HPG members. Non-HPG folks, please contact May (izumiriye@yahoo.com) to be put on the waitlist.
Enrollment: Total enrollment is limited to 12 people.
Supplies:
Leatherhard greenware
One pint of porcelain trimmings or some other clay you’d like to turn into a slip
Storage containers
Chip brushes, hake brushes, or ribs for slip application
