Mission Statement
Hawaii Potters’ Guild is a cooperative organization dependent on its members to operate and maintain its studio in a collegial atmosphere for creative ceramic work. HPG was established in 1967 by a small and dedicated group of potters who wanted to share the “clay experience” with the community at large. The intent to promote community programs became a part of its mission and gained for them their educational non-profit status.
Our Mission
• To provide educational programs for the community taught by professional potters.
• To provide studio facilities for members and students which encourage a spirit of cooperation among all users.
• To cooperate with and encourage other similar programs statewide.
